FINAL PROJECT
At the culmination of the semester, each student at our Institute is expected to present a comprehensive project. This project should reflect the knowledge and skills acquired from our coursework and the trio of project development classes. The essence of the project is to engage in an initiative that embodies personal, church, community, professional, or public policy elements, directly tying in with our learning ethos.
The scope of the project is broad and can encompass activities such as organizing a significant event, aspiring for a public office role, or participating in service projects benefiting communities at various levels, including local church, city, or state. A key criterion is that the project must incorporate elements of public service, public policy, and/or outreach.
The primary objective is for students to meticulously outline their project plan. This blueprint should detail the strategic steps towards actualization, encompassing aspects like funding strategies, logistical planning, target audience identification, and a robust business plan. Essential details such as dates and timings should be clearly articulated.
Additionally, each student is required to develop a set of presentation slides. These slides should be crafted with the perspective of pitching the project to potential investors or funders, as if it's being presented for the first time. This exercise aims to equip students with the skills to effectively communicate and advocate for their initiatives.
Each student will have about 7 minutes to give your presentation.
HOMEWORK
Students will be required to do a summerative essay of what they learned in each class. The goal is to continue the conversation on the important that we touch on in each of our classes and to observe the students their attention and perspective of the topic.
