OUR INITIATIVE
Latino Influence
Hispanics are on the rise and growing with them is the evangelical church’s influence all over the United States. There are more and more Hispanic protestant churches in the neighborhoods and a growing interest of the communities to attend them. 35% percent of Hispanics in America now call themselves “born-again”. Dozens of conversations with members of several congregations and with other Hispanic evangelicals and conservatives around the country over the course of the year make clear that religious identity would be a fundamental part of their political affiliation as their ethnic identity.
But, At the same time...
visiting Hispanic communities throughout the country, we have come across an alarming reality: the lack of civic and political commitment of the new generation of young Hispanic Christians and conservatives. We must take action now.
Our Initiative
The NAHPA Leadership Program is a training experience for young Hispanic leaders between 20 and 35 years old, organized by the National Hispanic Pastors Alliance.
